Mariale Ryff, owner of Swank Ave. Events, LLC, has over 16 years of experience in wedding and event planning. Mariale started her hospitality career after graduating from the Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston and gained much of her experience by working at some of the most respected private country clubs in the nation. Her love for event planning was sparked while working at the Houston Country Club, considered among the top-rated private clubs in the country. From there, she embarked upon a very successful management career at various private clubs in the South and the Midwest. Ultimately, she joined the team at The Oaks Club in 2003 as the Clubhouse Manager overseeing all daily operations, food & beverage outlets, weddings and special events for the club.
Mariale has had the honor of planning and executing a wide variety of events for different clients and organizations; from some of the most high end weddings, various Galas, corporate events and holiday parties, to Fourth of July barbeques, anniversaries, baby showers and birthday parties.
Mariale combines her creativity and background in food & beverage to bring a fresh and unique approach to every event she plans. Having worked as a vendor hosting events and a planner executing and implementing events, Mariale anticipates where challenges can occur and plans accordingly thus ensuring that each client takes away only wonderful memories of their celebrations.
She remains dedicated to her industry by her continued involvement with events in the community. Among her most notable events, Mariale chaired the first Gala held by the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce in over 15 years and, she has been, and remains, involved with The Sarasota-Manatee Originals Forks and Corks Food & Wine Festival held at the Ringling Museum.
Mariale was born in South America and has lived in and visited several native Spanish-speaking countries. She is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
